Area students honored as Spillers Orthodontics Scholars

Spillers Orthodontics recently announced the recipients of the 2016 Spillers Orthodontics Scholarship, former patients Anna Lyons and Drew Smith.

Lyons is a Bonaire resident and Veterans High School graduate who is expected to attend Cedarville University in Ohio, while Smith is a Butler resident who graduated from Taylor County High School and is set to attend Georgia Southern University. Both will receive $1,000 to be applied to first-year tuition or other college-related expenses.

Selected from 65 applicants by an impartial board, Lyons and Smith were chosen based on their achievement, leadership and service throughout their high school years.
