Cox to honor Macon students with inspirational stories
Cox Communications is set to again honor students with noteworthy stories.
The second edition of the Inspirational Student Hero Awards are scheduled for Monday at 4:30 p.m. at the Tubman Museum, 310 Cherry Street. Cox will recognize 30 students from Macon who have “demonstrated extraordinary accomplishments at school, at home and in their communities, despite facing many challenges on a daily basis.,” according to a release.”
Students are chosen by school leaders and will be presented with medallions and certificates.
