Macon's Cirrus Academy set to hold career fair Saturday

Cirrus Academy is set to add faculty members through a career fair this Saturday.

The event, scheduled for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., will take place in Mercer University's Stetson Hall, which has an official address of 1501 Mercer University Drive but is located toward the middle of campus next to the University Center and Jack Tarver Library.

Prospective teachers are asked to bring resumes and teaching certificates.

The school is a state-approved charter school with a focus on science, technology, engineering, arts and math. It will start with students in kindergarten through the eighth grade for the 2016-17 school year and add a grade each year after that.
