Mount de Sales seniors spend day helping the community
Twelfth-graders at a Macon school recently devoted a day to community service.
For Senior Service Day on Oct. 11, the senior class at Mount de Sales Academy lent a helping hand in local neighborhoods.
Students painted a house through Rebuilding Macon; made a mural for the Ronald McDonald House; assisted shoppers at the food pantry at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church; and visited residents at Carlyle Place.
The seniors also led MDS freshmen in discussions, games and journaling on compassion and got their campus ready for upcoming athletic events.
