College and career fest happening today and Friday in Macon

A Macon event aims to help high school students research their college and career options. The 20th annual College and Career Fest is 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. today and Friday in Macon, and a parent and student night is planned for 6 p.m. today.

The event, sponsored by 100 Black Men of Macon, is at the Anderson Conference Center, 5171 Eisenhower Parkway. Students in public, private and parochial schools are invited.

More than 50 colleges, universities, technical institutes, military branches, nonprofit organizations and businesses will be represented at the fair. Some exhibitors will have interactive displays and presentations.
