Macon school looking for host families

Stratford Academy is looking for families to open up their homes to exchange students this fall.

Twinn Palms is the agency that works with the school to connect international students with host families. The families are responsible for housing the students from August to May, but not during holiday and summer breaks, said Robert Sassos, recruitment manager for South East region of Twinn Palms.

They must have a separate bedroom for the student and provide them with meals and transportation to school. A monthly stipend is provided to the family to help with expenses.
