He’s worked with the school district for eight years and currently teaches American government, economics, U.S. history and world history, as well as college U.S. and world history classes to high school students.
The state winner will be announced June 12. Bibb County’s Dominique Nichols, who teaches world literature and AP English literature and composition at Westside High School, is also in the running for the award.
