Bibb County high schools dismiss early before holidays

Bibb County has modified its high school schedule for the days leading up to the holiday break.

On Dec. 16, 19 and 20, all high school students will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m., after morning end-of-semester tests have been finished. Students will receive sack lunches to take with them.

The early dismissal is intended to give students extra time to study for their other tests, according to a news release from the school district.

School staff will work a normal schedule those days.
