Mercer University has been named a Military Friendly School. The 2017 list compiled by Victory Media, a company that works to connect the military and civilians, serves as a resource to help veterans choose the college, university or trade school that is best for them.

“Mercer’s designation as a 2017 Military Friendly School acknowledges university leadership and its strong, steadfast commitment in support of military-connected students, veterans and their families,” said Scott Mahone, assistant director of regional academic center operations and a retired Army lieutenant colonel, in a news release.

Mercer participates in the Post-9/11 GI Bill, the Yellow Ribbon Program and the Reserve and Veteran Education Assistance programs and works with military members to get them enrolled in traditional, nontraditional and graduate programs.
