Macon woman clashes with hairdresser
She said she’d paid her hair stylist $55 to do her hair. At least that is what a 26-year-old west Macon woman told the police. She summoned a Bibb County sheriff’s deputy back in mid May and said her hairdresser, a 28-year-old woman, told her she would style her hair the next day. But when the customer talked to the hairdresser the next day, the hairdresser said there’d been a death in her family and that she would do the client’s hair the next day. In the end it took a week, the customer said, to get in touch with the hairdresser. When the customer finally reached the stylist, the customer told the stylist she didn’t want her doing her hair anymore and that she wanted her $55 back. The stylist apparently told the customer she’d have to take her to court to get it. The stylist later told the deputy that she “did intend to pay it back … at her earliest convenience.” On May 17, when the cops were called, the dispute nearly escalated to fisticuffs when one of the women went to the other’s apartment and was “bamming” on the door, a sheriff’s report noted. “However, no fight had taken place. Both parties were advised they would have to handle the incident in civil court.”
