Macon man says woman stole $200 after sex
Dispatches: An “unknown suspect” was knocking on a west Macon woman’s apartment in the middle of the night. The midnight episode happened April 29 at Creekside Vista Apartments on Log Cabin Drive. The woman, 35, called the cops and said the man knocking claimed that she owed him money. She said she didn’t know him. The man, 47, later told a Bibb County sheriff’s deputy that the woman had stolen $200 from his shirt pocket. The deputy’s write-up noted that the theft supposedly happened “after they had sex.” The man showed the deputy text messages between the two that were “sexual in nature.” The deputy told the man that the matter would require further investigation and that authorities would be in touch. . . . About daybreak on May 20, a 55-year-old man staying at the Days Inn on Jeffersonville Road in east Macon called the cops. He said that earlier he had “telephoned a female who he knows only by Jessica” to drop by his room, a sheriff’s report noted. The woman did in fact pay the man a visit, and later on told the man she was going to make a beer run. “He explained she left and never returned,” the report said. “He further stated that he later checked his pants and discovered that his money ($80) was missing.” The report added that the man “has tried to call her and it keeps going to voicemail.” . . . On Memorial Day, a Bibb sheriff’s dispatcher relayed to deputies a caller’s report about unwanted wildlife. “They say there’s a deer in their yard,” the dispatcher said over the police radio. A sheriff’s deputy was quick to chime in that officers wouldn’t be handling such a call. “Tell them to shoo it away,” the deputy said. . . . Another radio transmission on the evening of June 1 involved a Bibb deputy apparently dealing with other animal issues, this one of the reptilian variety. Details weren’t available, but he told dispatchers he was “taking the snake out to a rural part of the county.”
