Woman accused of pepper-spraying Macon teen after calling her ‘fat’

It was going on 2 a.m. when a Bibb County sheriff’s deputy was sent to check on a teenager who’d been pepper-sprayed. The teen, a 19-year-old woman, was at a Macon hospital. She said that earlier she had been at Sherwood Arms Apartments on Bloomfield Drive on the city’s southwest side. The deputy’s write-up of the teen’s statement went on to note that the teen had been visiting friends there when a woman in her late 30s “became hostile towards her.” The older woman was described by one witness as “drunk.” The teen was in a car when the older woman was heard saying, “What did she say about me? I want that fat (expletive)!” The older woman then squirted pepper spray into the teen’s car, the report said. The suspect’s name wasn’t known but the deputy’s report said she “is a relative of Pooh Pooh,” the victim’s friend. The deputy also listened to voice mail recordings left on the victim’s phone that appeared to have been left by “a drunk female,” possibly the culprit.
