Drunk woman smacks friend, calls Macon cop 'devil'

There was a death in her family. So an east Macon woman spent the morning of Feb. 7 away from home with relatives. When the woman, 37, returned to her place on Gateway Avenue, across Shurling Drive from Bowden Golf Course, uninvited guests awaited her. Among them, a Bibb County sheriff’s report noted, was an intoxicated 55-year-old woman. The drunk woman had invited people over while the woman who lives there was gone. The two women “exchanged words,” the report said, and the drunk woman flung a bottle at the resident, later punching her twice on the cheek. “The suspect then fell drunk on the floor,” the report added. The resident called the cops and when they arrived they told the intoxicated woman to leave. She refused and they handcuffed her. She called one deputy a “white (expletive) devil (expletive) piece of (expletive)!” the report said. She was jailed on disorderly conduct and battery charges.
