Macon woman admits eating marijuana after car crash

Dispatches: There was a two-car wreck on Riverside Drive in north Macon on Nov. 2. One of the drivers, a 40-year-old woman who was later arrested for DUI, admitted to a Bibb sheriff’s deputy at the scene that in order to hide a small amount of marijuana, she ate it. . . . A man on Shetland Pines Drive off Hartley Bridge Road was arrested Nov. 9 because he kept dialing 911 and cussing. According to a sheriff’s report, he was mad because a “large dog” was at his front door. . . . A man in a quarrel with a woman on Richmond Street in southeast Macon told a sheriff’s deputy “that he was texting another female because” the woman he was with “was texting another male.” There was, however, as the deputy’s write-up adroitly noted, “not enough evidence to make an arrest.”
