Man trudges out of Family Dollar with ‘mass quantities’ of merchandise in his pants

A Bibb County sheriff’s deputy’s report said there were “mass quantities of store goods” in a man’s pants when the man plodded out of a Family Dollar store in east Macon without paying one day in mid-November. The report didn’t mention what exactly was stolen from the Emery Highway store, just that there were at least $500 worth of “household goods” crammed in the man’s trousers. There was so much stuff jammed in “every pocket and down everywhere inside his pants,” the deputy’s write-up said, the man “could barely walk.” The guy was last seen trudging toward Second Street.
