Women cited for cussing at each other in fuss over heater
Bibb County sheriff’s deputies were sent to check on what were described as some “disorderly subjects” who were fussing at a house on Bailey Avenue. The street runs between Napier Avenue and Columbus Road on the north side of Macon’s Unionville neighborhood. A 57-year-old woman in the living room said she and another woman, a 53-year-old who stays there, had been arguing about a space heater. “They continued to argue and curse even with deputies present,” a report of the Oct. 30 incident said. It wasn’t clear from the write-up what exactly about the heater they were in an uproar about, just that they had “in a very boisterous and volatile manner” been cussing and carrying on. They were cited for disorderly conduct.
