Public invited to review US 41 bridge replacement plans
The public is invited to take a look at plans for bridge replacements along U.S. 41 at an open meeting with the Georgia Department of Transportation on June 14.
The replacements of the north and southbound bridges over Rocky Creek, Tobesofkee Creek and their respective overflows will be discussed from 4-6 p.m. at Porterfield Baptist Church at 2910 Allen Road in Macon, according to a news release from GDOT.
Those unable to attend can still give their input.
For 10 days following the meeting, plans and handouts will be available to the public at the GDOT District 3 Area 4 office at 449 Riverside Drive in Macon, the release said.
People also may send comments to State Environmental Administrator Eric Duff at 600 West Peachtree St.-NW, 16th Floor, Atlanta, GA 30308. Comments must be received by June 24.
