Telfair sheriff releases sketch of armed robbery suspect
Two weeks after an armed robbery off the Scotland-Towns dirt road in Telfair County, Sheriff Chris Steverson is asking the public’s help identifying a suspect.
A GBI sketch artist worked with the victim of the May 11 robbery to draw a picture of the suspect.
On the sheriff’s Facebook page, Steverson announced one suspect is in custody, Don Ellis.
Anyone who can identify the second man is urged to call Investigator Ron Bowdoin at 229-315-4323 or the sheriff’s office line at 229-868-6621.
