Telfair Sheriff’s Office seeks identity of accused armed robber

The Telfair County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in connection with an armed robbery earlier this month.

A GBI composite sketch artist met with the victim of the robbery and produced a picture of the suspect, which was shared on the office’s Facebook page Tuesday. The robbery occurred the morning of May 11 off the unpaved Scotland-Towns Road, according to the post.

Another suspect, Don Ellis, was taken into custody, but his alleged accomplice is still at large, the post said.
