Arrest made in Milledgeville armed robbery
Milledgeville police have charged a 20-year-old man with an April 27 armed robbery.
Levi Jones was arrested Thursday in the Walmart parking lot and charged with armed robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and firearm possession by a convicted felon, according to a news release from the Milledgeville Police Department.
Jones and an unknown accomplice are accused of pulling a gun and taking $200 and a .380 pistol from a man late last month.
A warrant was issued for Jones, and a Baldwin County deputy spotted his 2000 Mazda Protégé in the shopping center parking lot before Thursday’s arrest.
Jones also is charged with drug possession after a significant amount of hydrocodone was found in the car.
