Monroe County authorities seek utility vehicles stolen from motel parking lots

Authorities in Monroe County are asking for the public's help in locating several utility task vehicles that have been reported stolen from local motel parking lots over the past few weeks.

The suspect drives a truck described as a single-cab early 2000s model Chevrolet Silverado with an extended bed, according to a news release from the Monroe County Sheriff's Office. An owner of one of the stolen vehicles is offering a $5,000 reward if their vehicle is recovered and the suspect is arrested, the release said.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of either of the utility task vehicles pictured with this article is asked to call Sgt. R. Seckinger at 478-994-7043 ext: 278.
