Forsyth police seeking suspects in Saturday shooting

The Forsyth Police Department is looking for two suspects in a shooting outside an apartment complex early Saturday morning.

A 24-year-old is recovering from a gunshot wound to the leg after being shot between 1-2 a.m. at Union Hill Apartments. The man said he was shot by a passenger in a car that pulled up as he was heading to a friend's house, according to Forsyth police investigator John Fields.

The victim did not see the driver but described the shooter as a young black man with a goatee, who is between 5-feet-6-inches and 6-feet tall and weighs about 165 pounds, Fields said.
