Bibb County Sheriff's Office: Suspect sought in financial fraud

The Bibb County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help with identifying and finding a woman accused of buying items with stolen debit card information at a Thomaston Road gas station.

Surveillance shows the woman enter the Flash Foods convenience store in the 5600 block after 11 p.m. on April 10, according to a news release from the sheriff's office. She fled the scene in a burgundy-colored SUV, possibly a GMC.

Anyone with information on the identity or whereabouts of the suspect or vehicle is asked to call Bibb County Sheriff's Office at 751-7500 or Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 877-68-CRIME.
