Forsyth police seeks two men in connection with Thursday stickup

The Forsyth Police Department is looking for two men who were caught on surveillance video robbing a convenience store owner at gunpoint Thursday night, according to a news release from the department.

The men ambushed the owner of Lil's Store on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive about 5:40 a.m., the release said. The owner, Jack Patel, was forced at gunpoint to hand over an undetermined amount of cash that was being stored behind the counter.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call investigator John Fields at 478-994-6022.
