Woman robbed at gunpoint outside Milledgeville Piggly Wiggly

A Milledgeville woman was robbed at gunpoint Friday in the Piggly Wiggly Parking lot at 1310 North Columbia St., according to a news release from the Milledgeville Police Department.

At about 11:45 a.m. Friday, the woman was sitting in her car, waiting for someone to finish shopping, when two young men dressed in black hoodies threatened to shoot her if she didn't give them all her money.

One of the men did have a gun, the victim said, as they allegedly stole her money and ran away outside the reach of store surveillance cameras.
