Gunman robs Macon store

A gunman forced a convenience store clerk into a restroom before fleeing in a robbery Sunday morning.

About 7 a.m. a man with a gun entered the Quick Zip at 3518 Jeffersonville Road, according to a Bibb County Sheriff's Office release.

The man went behind the counter and demanded money. After the clerk complied, the gunman ordered the clerk into the restroom, then he fled the store.

The robber was described as a black male, wearing a green shirt, camouflage pants and a black bandana over his face,
