The Bibb County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a 24-year-old was shot in her leg just after midnight Monday morning in west Macon.
Falon Tomberline, 24, told investigators she was standing in the street outside a house on Hollis Road talking with others when she heard gunfire and someone with her said, "Run," according to a news release from the sheriff's office. Tomberline suffered a gunshot wound to her upper right leg. She was driven to a hospital by a third party and was listed as stable, the release said.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the sheriff's office at 751-7500 or call Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 877-68CRIME.
