Macon man stabbed in failed robbery

A 29-year-old Macon man was stabbed multiple times Wednesday night in an apparent robbery attempt.

Adam Nowling was listed in stable condition Thursday at Medical Center, Navicent Health, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.

Nowling encountered men in black clothing and ski masks at the intersection of Mumford Road and Napier Avenue just before 10 p.m. Wednesday, the release stated.
