Jones County Sheriff's Office seeks public's help to find suspect

The Jones County Sheriff's Office is looking for a 21-year-old man officials say was involved in a chase with a deputy Wednesday afternoon.

Timothy Lee Rogers was last seen wearing a brown Carhartt-style jacket, according to the sheriff's office Facebook page. Rogers is not believed to be dangerous.

The Bibb County Sheriff's Office has an outstanding warrant for Rogers on charges of theft by receiving a motor vehicle, the post said. He also faces several pending charges in Jones County.
