Warrant issued in slaying of Bibb sheriff's clerk
The Bibb County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance in locating 22-year-old Curtis Dewayne Jackson Jr.
A murder warrant was issued for Jackson's arrest in connection with the murder of 23-year-old sheriff's office employee Vernard Mays that occurred on Oct. 27, 2015, at his Second Street home, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.
Addonis Rhodes, 16, Jadarien Shamar Flowers, 19, Michael Dewayne Hardy Jr., 19, and Drayson MacDonald, 16 have previously been charged in the case.
Jackson is a black male. He is 6 foot 4 inches in height and is estimated to weigh about 200 pounds. Jackson is from Macon but may be in the Atlanta area.
