A 68-year-old man has been arrested by the Crawford County Sheriff's Office in connection with the stabbing of two dogs earlier this week.

Marvin Bryson was arrested Friday about 4:20 p.m. and charged with two counts of aggravated cruelty to animals, according to a news release from the sheriff's office. Bryson, who lives on Sandy Point Road, is accused of stabbing two dogs belonging to different neighbors living on the same street.

One of the dogs, a 9-year-old lab mix named Honey, died from injuries sustained during Monday's attack.

Bryson is being held at the Crawford County jail and no bond has been set, according to the release.
