Woman stabbed in Club Status brawl in Macon

A 36-year-old woman was stabbed in her hand during a fight that broke out in a Macon nightclub early Wednesday morning.

The woman was leaving Club Status, 4740 Pio Nono Ave., about 3 a.m. when a fight broke out in front of her, according to an incident report from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office. During the brawl, the woman was stabbed through her right hand by another woman involved in the fight, according to the report.

The injured woman got a ride from the club to Coliseum Medical Centers where she met with a deputy to report the crime.

It isn't known what object was used in the stabbing.

In September 2015, 29-year-old Aquallo Davis Jr. was fatally shot outside the nightclub.
