Suspect in stolen car rams Bibb deputy's car off Gray Highway
A man driving a stolen car refused to stop for Bibb County sheriff's deputies and rammed a patrol car before trying to flee early Tuesday.
Just after 4:30 a.m., deputies were called to Cherry Tree Hill apartments at 2050 Old Clinton Road to investigate loud music coming from a car, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.

When they found the vehicle on Shurling Drive, the driver wouldn't stop and hit a deputy's patrol car at Williams Street near Gray Highway.
Jamal Chris Rowe, 26, was captured as he tried to run and was taken into custody.
Rowe is charged with aggravated assault on a peace officer in connection with the collision. He also faces charges of fleeing and eluding a peace officer, theft by receiving a stolen auto and he has a warrant for his arrest on a larceny charge, the release said.
No one was hurt in the accident, although deputies initially called for an ambulance.
