Bibb deputies investigating shooting, cutting

A 21-year-old man was cut on the stomach and a 54-year-old man was shot in the shoulder late Saturday night during an argument at a south Bibb County gathering, Bibb County deputies said.

Deputies were called to the 7300 block of Nowell Road South just before midnight. Both men were taken to a local hospital and are listed in stable condition, according to a sheriff's office news release.

Detectives were still questioning witnesses and investigating the incident Sunday.
