Trail of stolen items leads to burglary arrest in Bibb County
A burglar left a trail of stolen property that led to his arrest Saturday, according to the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies were called to a residence on Marjane Drive at about 8:30 a.m., a release stated. The owner reported coming home just after 8 a.m. to find that the back door had been forced open. The home had been ransacked and items were taken.
Deputies searched the area and found stolen items in the wood nearby. The deputies found more items along a trail in the woods, then found several more items in the back yard of a residence at Zebulon Road, the release stated.
Deputies obtained a search warrant for the residence and found more stolen items, the release stated.
Brandon Carl Tucker, 31, was arrested and charged with burglary. His bond was set at $8,450.
