Paralegal accused of sneaking items to Bibb inmates

A paralegal was arrested Friday for allegedly sneaking items to gang members held in the Bibb County jail.

Staci Castleberry, 40, was charged with possession of items to inmates without consent and criminal street gang activity, according to a release. She worked for Gomez Law Group at the time of the incidents.

On more than one occasion, the release stated, she crossed the guard line to pass the items to two inmates at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. The inmates were members of the Mafia gang.

She allegedly gave the inmates tobacco, a cellphone and prayer oil.
