Arrest warrants issued for brothers in killing a Macon teen

Arrest warrants have been issued for two brothers suspected of killing a 17-year-old Macon woman who died Christmas morning.

Arrest warrants were issued Friday against 19-year-old Felton Lee King III and Romaire Foster, 16, on charges of criminal attempt to commit murder in relation to the death of Kaytlyn Foster, who died Christmas morning from injuries suffered in a shooting.

Additional charges are expected to be filed against the Warner Robins brothers, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.

Bibb sheriff's deputies found Foster at 7 p.m. Wednesday inside Westminster Apartments on North Atwood Drive while responding to a call that a person had been shot. She had been in critical condition since the shooting.

Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones said she died at 10:45 a.m. Friday in the surgical trauma intensive care unit at the Medical Center, Navicent Health.

Romaire Foster is being charged as an adult, the release said.

Anyone with any information about the shooting is asked to contact the sheriff's office at 751-7500 and leave a message for an on-call investigator or call Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 877-68-CRIME.
