Three men rob clerk at A&K Express Mart in east Macon

Three men robbed the A&K Express Mart at 1091 Old Clinton Road about 4 p.m. Tuesday.

One of the men was wearing a mask and was armed with a handgun, a Bibb County Sheriff's Office news release stated. He ordered the clerk to lie down on the floor.

The other two suspects carried items from the store, including tobacco products, the clerk's cell phone and the store's surveillance system. An undisclosed amount of cash was also stolen.

The suspects left the store on foot. The clerk went to a nearby store to report the incident to authorities. No one was hurt during the robbery.

Anyone with information about the robbery is urged to contact the Bibb County Sheriff's Office at 478-751-7500 and asked to leave a message for the on-call investigator, or leave an anonymous tip for Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 877-68-CRIME.
