A neighbor has been charged with murder after a Macon man plunged to his death Thursday night after being pushed from a ninth-floor window.

Willie Frank Stanley, 60, was arrested early Friday morning after Bibb County sheriff's investigators learned he was there about 8:30 p.m., when 36-year-old Robert Paulson went through a glass window in his Kenilworth Manor Apartment at 100 Crystal Lake Circle.

The 11-story building is at the heart of an apartment complex not far from the Harrison Road Wal-Mart in southwest Bibb County.

Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones pronounced Paulson dead on the ground behind the apartments off Chambers Road.

Deputies detained Stanley through the night and charged him after questioning him and other witnesses about the incident.

He is being held without bond at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.
