Man dies after being pushed from high-rise apartment window in Macon

A man is dead after being pushed out of a ninth-floor apartment window in Macon.

Bibb County sheriff's deputy Linda Howard said a call came in about 8:30 p.m. Thursday about the death at Crystal Lake Apartments. The high-rise apartment is on Crystal Lake Circle, off Bloomfield Road.

Howard, a public information officer for the sheriff's office, said the name of the victim has not been released because the family has not yet been notified.

Someone is in custody, Howard said late Thursday, but officials are not releasing that name because that person was being questioned but had not been charged.
