The Bibb County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man who's being accused of using fraudulent credit cards in a scam targeting customers at gas stations on Nov. 29.

The man approached cash-paying customers asking for money, according to a news release from the sheriff's office. In exchange, he offered to put double the amount of gas in their vehicle using fraudulent credit cards, according to the news release.

Store surveillance cameras show that the suspect is a black male with a goatee and mustache who was driving a silver, four-door Nissan Altima, according to the release.

Anyone with information about the identity or whereabouts of the suspect is asked to call the Bibb County Sheriff's Office at 751-7500 and ask to leave a message for the on-call property investigator or call Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 877-68-CRIME.
