New charges filed against men in 2014 Macon triple killing

Four men charged in a May 2014 triple killing now face armed robbery, gang and jail contraband charges, according to an indictment filed Tuesday in Bibb County Superior Court.

Lewis Monroe “Bear” Cheney II, 31, Quintavious “Quinn” Isaih Everett, 24, Vincent “White Boy” Lewis, 37, and Rayshawn Reanaldo “Ping” Lucas, 33, previously were indicted Aug. 19 in the shooting death of Arika “Lottie Dottie” Jarrell and Ralph Heard.

Tuesday's indictment charges the four men with eight counts of murder, two counts of armed robbery, two counts of aggravated assault, one count of possession of a telecommunications device by an inmate and 13 counts of violating the state's Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act.

The May 29, 2014, shootout followed an ambush and attempted armed robbery near 23-year-old Jarrell’s Fairburn Avenue home.  Jarrell and Heard, 32, were fatally shot in her vehicle, but their bodies weren't discovered until the following day.

Another alleged member of the ambushing group, Terrance “Heavy D” Dent, 25, was fatally shot during the robbery attempt.

Investigation showed Cheney, Lewis, Lucas and Everett drove Dent to Lewis’ mother’s home on Grenada Terrace where his body was discovered.

Authorities have said the men targeted Jarrell and Heard at Wings Cafe on Bloomfield Drive and followed them back to Jarrell's home.

Tuesday's indictment alleges the men are associated with the Bottom Side Gangstas street gang and that they took cash from Heard and Jarrell at gunpoint.

Cheney, Everett, Lewis and Lucas are being held at the Bibb County jail, according to jail records.
