Two people shot outside Macon apartments

Two people were shot outside of apartments in south Macon about 7 p.m. Thursday night in an incident being investigated by the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.

Michael Griffin, 33, was shot in the right lower leg and Keshawn Lundy, 17, was shot in the left hand outside of Heaton Place Apartments at 5341 Bloomfield Road, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.

Griffin and Lundy were driven by a third party to Medical Center, Navicent Health, where they are listed in stable condition, according to the release.

As of late Thursday night, investigators were talking with the victims and gathering information. No information about the suspect or suspects was available.
