Dairy Queen on Pio Nono in Macon robbed at gunpoint
A Dairy Queen restaurant at 3855 Pio Nono Ave. was robbed Monday night.
About 9:30 p.m., the store's manager was taking out the trash when a man armed with a handgun ordered him back inside and demanded money, according to a Bibb County Sheriff's Office news release.
The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, the release said.
He was wearing a dark colored hoodie, dark colored shoes, jeans and a white bandana over his face, the release said.
No one was hurt during the armed robbery.
