Two arrests made in attempted robbery, shooting at Domino's in Macon
A man and woman from Macon were arrested and charged Monday in connection with the Domino's Pizza robbery and shooting on Forsyth Road earlier this month.
Bibb County sheriff's deputies arrested Warrell Quincy Tyson, 22, and Jasmine Nicole Holt, 23, and charged them both with criminal attempt to commit robbery and aggravated assault.
Tyson is the suspected gunman who attempted to rob the pizzeria, and Holt is believed to have taken Tyson to Domino's and waited for him, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.
Holt was a delivery driver at the Forsyth Road business, the release said.
The attempted robbery and shooting happened just before 11:30 p.m. Nov. 9. A man entered the store with a revolver, walked to the back of the store and demanded an employee give him money, the sheriff's office has said.
The employee and suspect got into a physical altercation, and the employee, 27-year-old Timdra Rutledge, was shot once in the abdomen, according to an earlier news release. He was taken to the Medical Center, Navicent Health where he was treated and released.
Anyone with further information about this case is urged to call the Bibb County Sheriff's Office at 478-751-7500 and ask to leave a message for the on-call investigator, or call Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 877-68-CRIME.
