Two 15-year-olds robbed at gunpoint in Macon on Saturday
Two teenage boys are accused of robbing at gunpoint two 15-year-olds off Pio Nono Avenue about 3 a.m. Saturday.
The two victims were walking from a store on Dent Street when they were approached by two males, 18-year-old James Allen and a 13-year-old, who were riding in a Dodge Durango, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.
One of the boys in the car pointed a pistol at the 15-year-olds and took several items from them, according to the news release.
Deputies found the Durango soon after the incident and discovered Allen with the 13-year-old in his or her home. No one was injured in the incident.
Allen, of Macon, was arrested and charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, underage possession of a handgun, cruelty to children and possession of marijuana, according to the news release. No bond has been set for Allen.
The 13-year-old was also taken into custody and turned over to a relative. Charges on the juvenile are pending further investigation, according to the news release.
