Armed robbery suspect turns himself in
A man turned himself in early Saturday in connection with allegations that he robbed a woman at gunpoint.
Emmanuel Lee Stroud Jr., 22, of Macon, turned himself in at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday, according to a Bibb County Sheriff's Office release.
He had warrants against him for armed robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and criminal street gang activity. The charges were related to an incident outside the Golden Corral at 4704 Presidential Parkway on Sept. 7.
He allegedly approached the woman and went through her purse while displaying a gun.
