Images released from attempted Circle K robbery in Macon

The Bibb County Sheriff's Office released images Thursday from a security camera of a convenience store that two gunmen attempted to rob Oct. 12.

The robbery was thwarted when the clerk slipped away from one of the robbers and the two men fled. The suspects shown in the images are believed to be black males armed with semi-automatic handguns. The robbery happened at the Circle K store at 3802 Northside Drive in the early morning hours.

Both men were wearing black hooded sweat shirts and masks.
