Third arrest made in armed robbery of Macon Family Dollar

The U.S. Marshal's Southeastern Regional Fugitive Task Force helped Bibb County sheriff's investigators arrest a third suspect in the Aug. 7 armed robbery of the Family Dollar at 5615 Houston Road.

Just after 1 p.m. Monday, Quintavious Terrez Dent, 22, of Macon, was picked up on an armed robbery warrant, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.

Dent, who has a Forsyth address based on jail records, is accused of robbing the store with two other men.

Last week, fingerprints on a cup left at the store led to the arrest of Davious Traymon Aaron, 22, of Macon. It was not immediately clear whether authorities still are searching for the third male, originally described as being 15 or 16 years old.

Deputies also arrested 39-year-old Chrystal Cain, of Macon, who allegedly told the men when to enter the store.

Anyone with information about the robbery is urged to call for an investigator at 751-7500 or phone anonymous tips to Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 877-68-CRIME.
