Suspect sought in car break-in during church
A woman is wanted in connection with a theft during Sunday morning church.
Between 10:50 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Oct. 11, the suspect broke the rear passenger window on a vehicle parked in the rear parking lot at Martha Bowman United Methodist Church at 500 Bass Road. A purse, which contained credit cards and other personal items, was taken from the vehicle.
The credit cards were used for two purchases at the Walgreens on Zebulon Road shortly after the break-in and another purchase at Wal-Mart. Images of the suspect, a white female with brown or blonde hair, were retrieved from the surveillance footage at Walgreens.
Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect is asked to call the Bibb County Sheriff's Office at 478-751-7500 and ask to leave a message for the on-call investigator, or call Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 877-68-CRIME.
